EntertainmentGeorge R.R. Martin’s 24% Rotten Tomatoes Supernatural Thriller Is Still a Global Sleeper Hit on Streaming

George R.R. Martin may be best known for his work writing the novel series that was turned into the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, but earlier this year, he teamed up with two big movie stars for a film that’s found sustained streaming success. Dave Bautista and Milla Jovovich star in In the Lost Lands, the supernatural fantasy thriller following a queen who sends Gray Alys (Jovovich) into the wilderness to search for a magical power. Currently streaming on Hulu in the United States and on Prime Video globally, In the Lost Lands is one of the most popular movies for the streamer in several countries such as Belgium and the Netherlands. The film earned “rotten” scores of 24% from critics and 47% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, and it also grossed only $6 million at the box office against a $55 million budget.
